Well I shan't be there in ten years time!<br>
<br>
Well past the magical 54/11, 8 years past, I decided at the end of last year<br>
to hang up the boots.<br>
<br>
I had moved from Traralgon to <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Melbourne</st1:place></st1:City>
in 2005 to take on a one year job at<br>
Ashwood as replacement for a Physics teacher on LWOP. Had a good year, good<br>
school and fantastic, supportive staff. At the end of the year, when I had<br>
to make decisions about job applications, I decided that I did not need to<br>
continue full time teaching when I could retire and do just some part time<br>
work. So here I am: boots off and feet up, looking forward to a day or two<br>
work each week.<br>
<br>
Have spent most of the last two weeks reading two books for my grand<br>
daughters and creating both an interactive computer version of my reading<br>
and a non-interactive DVD version using Opus Pro 5.5 - a labour of love that<br>
I have enjoyed immensely.<br>
<br>
This list has been fantastic, as have other teacher lists/forums I have<br>
belonged to. I shall continue as a member.<br>
