is not strictly correct Andrew. While the correction depends on the
number of students, the preparation is the same as if it were for
2 separate classes. - <FONT color=#ff0000>Preparation is much the same but
not less marking. I try to give my students as much feedback on homework tasks
etc as possible. The number of students clearly has an impact on this. Also
with 25 students I have no time in class to complete any other tasks. I know
from experience that in a small class (is my 8 students in maths methods) there
are quiet times when one can do prep and marking</FONT></FONT></SPAN></DIV>

would argue that if i have to run a combined course for VCE, where there is
a large amount of marking and preparation, then i ought to be given a
