Development and have already implemented quite a few of the ideas I got from

16;news’.
At the beginning of our double period we share a news item. I ask each
student to come prepared but not all of them share each time (it would take=
too
long). The aim behind it was to broaden their horizons and general
knowledge particularly when it comes to unit 4 and world events /
geography. However I have found it to be really effective and the
students are bringing some great topics to class. We try to match it t=
o
the content of the class each week but basically any health issue will
do. My weaker students tend to double up and use articles from English
but I don’t see a problem with that because it still enhances their
understanding. Anyway, a simple idea but it generates a lot of
discussion.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
