[Gifted and Talented] 6in6 Competiton Update (apologies about the cross posts)

Good afternoon.

 

VITTA has had some queries about the 6in6 competition resources - they are
all accessible on the VITTA web site - see the list below.  There are great
prizes, so get those entries in!  The closing date is Monday September 3rd,
so please get your entries in to VITTA by that date.

 

What is 6in6 about?

6in6 is a digital photography competition for teams of school students that
aims to develop students' digital and visual literacy skills. 
Students have six weeks to create six images, using a readily-available
device such as a mobile phone, digital camera or video camera.

The images should communicate a theme chosen by the students and will be
judged on how effectively this theme is conveyed in the images, as well as
the quality of the images presented including design, visual appeal and
composition. The images can be presented in a number of ways - digital
story, photo montage, slide presentation, e-book, poster... the choice is
yours!

Winning entries will receive prizes for their school and all participants
will be awarded a certificate. Winners will be announced at the highlighted
event for ICT Week at BMW Edge Federation Square on Friday 7 September at
11:30am.  The winning images will be displayed on the web and also on the
Big Screen at Federation Square.

There are four categories of competiton:

-           Prep - Year 3

-          Years 4 -  6

-          Years 7 - 8

-          Years 9 - 12
