[Gifted and Talented] So you think you can rock...? interschool competition

Hi everyone,

Just a reminder to register your teams for the 'So you think you can rock...?' interschool competitions.

Heats have now been moved to late October so you have plenty of time to get your teams together!

'So you think you can rock...?' is a fantastic opportunity for students and teachers to work together in a fun and educational interschool competition. VITTA has had an overwhelmingly positive response from both students and teachers from all over Victoria who can’t wait to get involved and explore the use of games in learning.

The competition consists of teams made up of three students and one teacher. These teams will form a band and go head to head against other schools in their region using the popular game, Guitar Hero World Tour. Heats will be held between the 12 and the 23rd of October in each of the nine DEECD regions, so you still have time to practice!

If you have difficulties with the timing and equipment needs of the competition, VITTA has come up with some great ideas on how to work around this as well as get your entire school involved.

We encourage you to register your bands as soon as possible to ensure you do not miss out on any updates. If you are yet to finalise your details we are more than happy for you to write “to be confirmed” for the categories still to be confirmed.
