<p>Where do I find the VCAA<a></a> marksheets<a></a> you refer to? Or are you referring to the descriptors in the Assessment Handbook? </p>

<p>My understanding is that the VCAA wants us to do holistic marking rather than use the old rubrics. We use the published VCAA marksheets and highlight levels to which each student meets the criteria in different sections of the sheet as appropriate. If
you look at the criteria they are in effect set out like a rubric but without the numbers assigned to each section. It allows you to make on balance judgements much more easily than with assigned numbers (but them I don't "do" numbers if I don't need to...)</p>
