<p class="MsoNormal">I was wondering if there are many secondary schools that permit (or encourage) students to bring and use their smartphones in the classroom. I am very interested in visiting a school or two that do this early next year and seeing how they
are used.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">We have introduced BYOD at our school as optional at all year levels. We have specified a suitable device as a tablet (iPad, Android or Windows 8) or a laptop (Windows or Mac) but have put a size restriction of a minimum of 23 cm diagonal
screen. This therefore excludes devices such as iPad Minis, Galaxy Notes and smartphones.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Just would like to know if other schools deal with learning with phones.</p>
