It concerns me that many schools are jumping on the iPad bandwagon without looking carefully at the limitations. I think if you asked some of the schools who are trialling them you would find that they see them as a consumption companion device and not something that will replace netbooks or notebooks. There are pro’s and cons for custom OS and other things but what then happens to the security of the network.
