<html><head><style type='text/css'>p { margin: 0; }</style></head><body><div style='font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt; color: #000000'><style>p { margin: 0; }</style><div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Dear Edulist subscriber (sorry for the cross posts),<br><br>This email contains information about an International multimedia competition on the theme: “A world of views” run by Alliance for International Education<br><br>In connection with its 2010 World Conference to be held at the MCG in Melbourne on 7-9 July, the Alliance for International Education announces a multimedia competition on the theme: “A world of views”. <br>The competition is open to schools all over the world from international or national systems with no exception. In particular, we will be looking for entries that creatively consider one or more of the following concepts:<br><ul><li>Global citizenship - what does it mean to you and your school ?</li><li>Globalisation and Internationalisation – what are the threats and opportunities ?</li><li>21st Century Learning – what skills will equip you for tomorrow and why?</li><li>International Mobility – how do you connect across geographical boundaries ?</li><li>Collaborating across Cultures – how does education help you relate to other people ?</li><li>International Perspectives – what does “a world of views” mean to you?</li></ul><br>The competition is divided into two categories: <br>Primary (up to 11 year of age) <br>Secondary (from 11 to 18 years of age). <br><br>A prize of € 500 ($1,000) will be awarded to the winning school in each category.
