<p class="MsoNormal">We’re about 650 in the secondary school component at HT, thought there’s a primary which also uses the space. I teach alone (I’m the only DT teacher.<br>
<br>
I don’t have time release, though there is an Art assistant. However, it’s often more complex to coordinate cross-department than to just do the job that needs doing.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">At a previous school appointment, I used to attract a 75 minute allowance as Head of Department, but that school had 1200 students and 3 members in the department, as well as a technician 2 days a week.<br>
