<b>Subject:</b> [Design and Technology] CAD program<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>A couple of years ago, we switched from using TriCAD to
Solid Edge for our Year 9 CAD elective. It was also being used by senior
technology students in subjects such as Wood. Apart from being a much
superior program, the licence fee was very attractive. This year we
experienced some difficulties as the company has new owners. They want
about $6,000 for the licence next year which we can’t afford. Can anyone
suggest suitable alternative CAD software which isn’t so expensive?<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>Thanks<o:p></o:p></p>
