[Design and Technology] Subject specific VCE advice

I'm keeping the calendar the same for my students, on the understanding that I haven't been advised any different by VCAA, other than a bonus 2 weeks (which isn't really a bonus yet, just eats Unit 4 time with Unit 3). Until Unit 4 gets actual extension dates, or changed information, the idea that we have more time is a hypothetical construct!

In the end, any bonus time (in extension from VCAA) would benefit extra SAC revision, extra bolstering of understanding, and depth of planning/documentation/production for SAT tasks I guess.

It's just less stressful/more certain for my kids to keep to a timeline they knew, and they know, until advised differently by an actual administrator of the course.

Subject: [Design and Technology] Subject specific VCE advice

Hi everyone,
I really appreciate the feedback about online teaching/resources for the SAC etc and VCE progress.
I had assumed that we would have had subject specific advice from VCAA regarding date changes and expectations. Does anyone have any news?
I just wanted to know if people are still sticking to the SAT (criteria 1-3) due date for next month and if we are allowed to start Unit 4 AOS 1 during this term, so we can hold off production till next term.
I would love to hear what others are doing.
Thanks,
Liz
